Memorial Şişli Hospital Assisted Reproduction Treatment Center IVF Laboratory has become the first laboratory accredited in Turkey as per the 15189 Medical Laboratory Accreditation standards DIN EN ISO 15189 Medical laboratories - Particular requirements for quality and competence) amongst few laboraties throughout the world in November 29, 2011.
Established by an experienced team under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Semra Kahraman with a technology level complying with the global standards, Memorial Hospital Assisted Reproduction Treatment Center IVF Laboratory has been accredited as per ISO 15189 Standards, and thus broke grounds once again.
ISO 15189 standard determines the competence and quality requirements pertaining to medical laboratories. It is a standard prepared by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Technical Committee for medical laboratories. It is accepted and has been applied internationally as of 2003. Amongst the international standards defined for laboratories, this standard provides a high level of contribution for the standardization of Medical Laboratories in terms of its content and the fact that it is developed for Medical laboratories. Applicable throughout the world, ISO 15189 is alsı the most important reference standard in terms of the quality and reliability of the medical laboratories.
The purpose of ISO 15189 standard (DIN EN ISO 15189 Medical laboratories - Particular requirements for quality and competence) is to ensure the reliability in medical laboratories and to ensure the accuracy and quality in analysis performed as required by the patients and clinic staff. ISO 15189 provides standards that may be used as a reference for institutions in terms of Medical Ethics and LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) besides the Administrative and Technical Requirements. With the accreditation, patients or clinicians receiving a service from the laboratory are warranted to receive a realiable, quality and technically-competent service.

She could never think that it will be something like that.Everything was so good !
She is happy .... And then .... cough. In the beginning she did not betray its values, she thought that soon it will pass, as do millions of people. But the cough did not pass. İt continued tormenting her until she went to the doctor.
The diagnosis sounded like a bolt from the blue sky: lymphoma, IV stage. In Russia the treatment would take a very long time. But Maria didn’t have it.
Her husband, who was next to her all the time, took the young woman to Antalya, to«MedStar» - a cancer center of «Memorial Healthcare Group», where first chemotherapy was immediately conducted. Professor Mustafa Ozdogan and Professor Iskhan Karadogan helped to Maria in her fight against cancer.
